 Pr. Salim HADDAD Received BS, MS, and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Annaba University in 1998, 2006 and 2010.

  • Joined the University of Skikda, in 2007.
  • Currently Professor of Electrical Engineering in Guelma University and Rector of Skikda k ElTarf  universities.
  • Teaches courses in power systems engineering, power electronics, renewable energy, and circuit theory.
  • Research interest: electric power quality, power conversion, renewable resource integration.  Co-authored over 60 technical articles.
  • Marital Status: Married -  four children.

Professor SARI Zaki

Plenary title: Energy-Efficient Design and Control of AS/RS for Industry 4.0

Bibliography:

Before, he was a Manufacturing Engineering Professor at Aboubekr Belkaid University of Tlemcen (UABT), Algeria; the founder and past Director of the Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory of Tlemcen (MELT), and the founder and past head of the National Curriculum of Manufacturing Engineering. He obtained his Engineer degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Electrical Engineering, Boumerdes, Algeria in 1987; his Magister degree in power engineering from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers, Algeria in 1990; and his Doctorate degree in manufacturing engineering from Tlemcen University in 2003. He obtained also a certificate in system engineering management from University of Missouri Rolla, USA, in 2003. His main domain of interest concerns the Design, Modeling, Optimization, Simulation and Control of Automated Storage and Retrieval System, he made several investigations on non-conventional AS/RS systems like flow rack systems but employed for different uses than the ones designed for. Other domains that he is interested in include Project Management & PMO, Facilities Design & Planning, Factory Physics, Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Planning &Scheduling, Supply Chain Management…He advised several magister and doctorate thesis. Some of his students are in professor position. He is associate editor of two international journals and regular reviewer of many ones. He was the chair of six international conferences and IPC member of more than thirty ones.

Doctor Rafik MEDJOUDJ 

Plenary title: Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things for Predictive Maintenance

Bibliography

Rafik Medjoudj holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and is affiliated with the University of Bejaia, Algeria. He is also an active member of the FSE2 (Fiabilité des Systèmes Electro‑Énergétiques) research team at the University of Bejaia, under the LaMOS unit, where he conducts research on power systems reliability and optimization.His key Research Interests includes Reliability modeling of electrical equipment (e.g., circuit breakers, substations), Cost evaluation and optimization of maintenance strategies and Stochastic failure processes in power distribution systems. His publications include work on reliability-based preventive maintenance, such as applying stochastic models to oil circuit breakers and photovoltaic system cost assessments. Dr. Medjoudj contributes to improving system availability and maintainability through probabilistic modeling and economic evaluation in power engineering contexts.

Professor Abdelyazid ACHOUR

Plenary title: Smart Integration of IoT and Control in Electrical Systems

Pr Abdelyazid ACHOUR was born in Bejaia, Algeria in 1972. He received the State Engineer degree in Automatics from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers in 1995 and the Magister degree in Automatic control from Military Polytechnic School of Algiers in 1999. He received his Ph.D in Automatics from the University of Bejaia in 2009. He started his academic career in 2000 at the University of Setif, Algeria, as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology. He was subsequently promoted to Associate Professor in 2016 and full Professor in 2021. In October 2002, he joints the department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Bejaia where he is member of the Industrial and Information Technology Laboratory. His research interests include Nonlinear control, Adaptive control, Renewable energy, Robotics.

Professor Emeritus KRIM Fateh

Plenary title: Distribution Grids With High Integration of Renewables : State of art of Stabilization techniques

 Fateh Krim received B. Sc. degree from Claude Bernard University of Lyon, France, in 1976, M. Sc and Engineer degrees in electrical engineering from Ecole Centrale, Lyon, in 1979, the Ph D from Polytechnic National Institute of Grenoble. France. and the special doctorate from University of Set if, Algeria, in 1982 and 1996 respectively. From 1982 to 1985, he was head of IC design department at CIT-Alcatel, Paris, France. He is currently a professor of electrical engineering at University of Serif Algeria and Director of laboratory of power electronics and industrial electronics. His main research interests are systems control, power and industrial electronics, renewable energies. Doctor Tarek BERGHOUT 

Plenary title: Deep Learning in Modern Cyber-Physical Systems:Paradigms, Architectures, and Challenges

Tarek Berghout studied Industrial Engineering at Batna2 University, Algeria, earning his Master and PhD in Industrial Informatics and Manufacturing in 2015 and 2021. His research focuses on condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, cybersecurity, and bioinformatics, with an emphasis on machine learning. He has numerous publications and serves as a reviewer/editor for reputable journals. Since 2015, he has worked as a laboratory technician and is now a chief technician at the same university.Top 2% scientist (2024-2025)

Professor Samir LADACI

Plenary title: New fractional control approach for optimal supervision of uncertain and fluctuating multi-source renewable energy systems

Bibliography:

Samir Ladaci obtained the State Engineer degree in Automatics in 1995 from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers and the Magister degree in Industrial Automation from Annaba University, Algeria in 1999. He obtained his Science Doctorate and Habilitation degrees from the department of Electronics, Mentouri University of Constantine, Algeria, in 2007 and 2009 respectively. His was a visiting researcher at IRCCyN (now LS2N), CNRS Nantes, France from 2006 to 2008, and has many collaboration projects with different research teams in France, Germany, Tunisia and Italy. From 2001 to 2013 he worked at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Skikda University, Algeria, as an Associate Professor. And from 2013 to October 2021 he was a full professor at the National Polytechnic School of Constantine, since that he joined the National Polytechnic School of Algiers. He has published more than 250 papers in journals and International conferences, many book chapters and co-edited a book and supervises many PhD theses (15 already defended with success).His current research interests include Fractional order Systems and Control, Adaptive Control, Robotics, Renewable Energy, Nonlinear and chaotic systems, Biomedical systems.
